Best Friend
Every animal deserves a loving home. Meet the dogs, cats and companions waiting for you, and change a life today.
Nobody here is put down for space
We take in dogs and cats from three counties, treat whatever is wrong with them, and keep them until the right home turns up. Some go in a fortnight. One has been with us since March.
We are eleven kennels, a cattery and about forty volunteers. There is no head office to send this to: what you give buys food, vaccinations and the vet bills we cannot plan for.
Make a Difference
Your support changes lives
Every contribution goes straight into the work, and small regular gifts are the ones we can plan around. Give what you can.
How to help
Three ways in, and all of them count
Not everybody can take an animal home. Most of what keeps this place running is done by people who cannot.
Adopt
Meet them first, twice if you want to. Every animal leaves neutered, chipped and vaccinated, and we take them back at any point in their life if it does not work out.
Foster
A spare room for a few weeks, usually for a puppy litter or a dog that does not cope in kennels. We pay for the food and the vet, you provide the sofa.
Volunteer
Dog walking, cleaning, driving to the vet, sitting with the nervous ones. Two hours a week is genuinely useful and Saturdays are the hardest to fill.

$25 is a week of food for one dog
Monthly is worth more than it sounds: it is the only part of the budget we can plan around, and it is what lets us say yes when somebody rings about an animal.
